The social media giant results found that sales rose by 33% in their third quarter yet still fell short of expectations too. Growth is stalling in developed markets while an increase in the amount of activity has been shown via the private messages app.

The technical firm is still expected to turn many features into an advertising business on the same level as the newsfeed on its original network.
