ISO27001 is the international standard describing best practice for an Information Security Management System. Eurolink Connect achieved our ISO 27001:2013 certification on 1 September 2014, and also ensure all suppliers have the same.
With businesses moving more and more to cloud based solutions access to data and the security of it is incredibly important. To have a provider who takes this incredibly seriously is important and Eurolink demonstrate this commitment to our clients.
The standard was changed considerably in 2013 and Eurolink is now amongst one of the first businesses working towards ISO27001:2013.
To date Eurolink has always ensured that we work with a supply chain that have this certification, but we are now taking it one stage further and have actually achieved this ourselves; so Eurolink customer’s have the assurance that all parties have this quality standard in operation.
This was a massive project that we undertook and we are now embedding the process throughout the business.
Our Business Continuity Process
Our business continuity processes are accredited by our ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 certification, an internationally accredited Information Security Management System implemented to reduce risk to information data (data assets) by ensuring Confidentiality, Availability & Integrity.
Eurolink Connect Ltd achieved this standard in 2014 and we undergo annual re-certification by an external body. As part of this re-certification we are required to regularly test, internally audit and continuously improve features of our business continuity and disaster recovery, including the ability for staff to work remotely if required.
