What makes us different from your other supplier…

Unlike other Telecoms Companies, we’re an ISP in our own right, which means we control our servers and are not reliant on other parties. We’re an approachable business that works hard for our customers. Here’s some of what makes us different:

Customer Service Charter

All our customers, longstanding and new, will continue to receive exceptional customer service, and a solution-first approach, which is outlined in our Service Charter as follows:

  • to always deliver first class service to our customers
  • to never turn a customer away
  • to ensure that if there is a major incident affecting a customer, our most experienced people are engaged, and customers are kept informed
  • to take responsibility for third party providers, so that where an issue lies with a third party we will manage and retain that ownership and manage them for our customers
  • to make service personal – empowering our employees to act in the customer’s best interest at all times.

The European Electronic Communications Code (EECC): Note to Customers

With effect from 17th June 2022, the Ofcom regulations will implement new European Electronic Communications Code (EECC) rules that aim to improve your rights when entering into a contract with us or when we make changes to your service.

These rules will apply to you if you are:

  • Companies who fall into the categories of Microenterprise, Small Enterprise Customer or Not for Profit, where no more than 10 individuals work for you (whether as employees, volunteers or otherwise); or
  • Consumers

ISO 27001:2013

We’re proud to be one of the first in the UK to get ISO27001:2013 certified.
ISO27001 is the international standard describing best practices for an Information Security Management System. Eurolink Connect achieved our ISO27001:2013 certification on 1 September 2014, and also ensure all suppliers have the same.
Our Business Continuity Processes are accredited by our ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 certification, an internationally accredited Information Security Management System implemented to reduce risk to information data (data assets) by ensuring Confidentiality, Availability & Integrity.
Eurolink Connect Ltd achieved this standard in 2014 and we undergo annual re-certification by an external body. As part of this re-certification, we are required to regularly test, internally audit, and continuously improve features of our business continuity and disaster recovery, including the ability for staff to work remotely if required.

ISO14001:2015

In 2022, Eurolink became certified in ISO14001:2015, as part of our environmental commitments and ESG goals.
ISO14001 is the international best practice standard for Environmental management. It offers monitoring and evaluation of an environment-first approach to business, evaluating our decision-making, goals and results. We first achieved the certification in November 2022 and undertake annual recertification.
ISO14001 forms part of our wider environmentally-focussed activities, including our climate pledge and sustainability working group. You can read more about it on our ESG page.

Cyber Essentials Certified

We are proud to be Cyber Essentials Certified. Cyber Essentials certification is just one of the commitments we have made to cybersecurity, alongside full staff training and audit repeating regularly, annual penetration testing of our systems, ISO27001:2013 certification and much more.

Information Security – find out how we keep everything we do safe and secure…

We strive to meet or exceed best practice in everything we do with data and information security standards being embedded throughout the business.  Below is an extract from our information security policy, which is aligned to the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 standards and ensures the Company:

  • complies to all applicable laws and regulations and contractual obligations
  • implements Information Security Objectives that take into account information security requirements following the results of applicable risk assessments
  • communicates these Objectives and performance against them to all interested parties
  • adopt an information security management system comprising a security manual and procedures which provide direction and guidance on information security matters relating to employees, customers, suppliers, and other interested parties who come into contact with its work
  • work closely with Customers, Business Partners, and Suppliers in seeking to establish appropriate information security standards
  • adopt a forward-thinking approach on future business decisions, including the continual review of risk evaluation criteria, which may impact information security
  • instruct all members of staff in the needs and responsibilities of information security management
  • constantly strive to meet and where possible exceed its customers’ expectations
  • implement continuous improvement initiatives, including risk assessment and risk treatment strategies, while making the best use of its management resources to better meet information security requirements.
